We had Szechuan beef, chicken lo mein, Mongolian beef, general Taos chicken, lemon chicken, shrimp fried rice, spring rolls, hot & sour soup, and wonton soupThe only thing we would probably not order again is the Szechuan beef, nothing too exciting about it. The rest, the plates were cleaned. Don’t judge, we were hungry. 😂😂

We love coming to eat here...we ALWAYS get the best service and the food is fresh and tasty. The presentation is just beautiful. Always a treat.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in the state tucked away in an unassuming strip mall. The interior is a tad dark and needs updating but you'll forget all about it once you get your food. Peking Duck? Yes please! Order in advance though. The entire staff is friendly and strives to remember every customer. This place is special.

Good food, quick and friendly service, generous portions, in a casual dining setting. The restaurant itself is neat, simple, and appeared to be clean. They had a steady stream of customers for a Sunday evening. Will check them out again - I only wish it was a little closer to home.

The meal and service were, as always, absolutely excellent. Due to Covid concerns, all dishes and utensils were disposable. I'll be happy when life is back to normal. We live up past Bowling Green, KY, and the meal is still SOOO worth the drive!

Excellent service and delicious food. Their prices are good with a nice, clean atmosphere if you dine in, and if you decide to order take away, it's always fast and fresh. Highly recommend the Singapore Mai Fun!

This is a wonderful little restaurant in Goidkettsville, TN. It's hiding in a strip mall near books a million, totally unassuming. It's immaculate, with a very small dining room. The wait staff is excellent, the prices are about typical, and the food is delicious. The crab Rangoon was very full of crab, the bed on a stick was mind blowing, chewy, tasty and hot. The generals was good, if a bit sweet, the orange chicken was awesome. The rice was delicious.

I'd give it a 4.5 if I could. Looking for a family style plating with flavors reminiscent of NYC, this is the place to try.

My family enjoys coming to this restaurant. The staff is always very friendly, the service is fast, and the food is good. It’s one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area, and whenever we are near by and looking for a place to eat, it is one of the tops places we consider.

Excellent food & great service

I wish I could 1 up everybody on my review of how great it is, but it's all been said already. Simply THE best chinese food you will ever eat. The satff is just as good as the food. There are few establishments that I get excited to visit. This is one of them. I travel from Florida to Nashville often and NEVER miss a chance to have dinner at China Cottaege.

Best Sesame chicken in Middle Tennessee. Quality, all white chicken breast, delicious sauce. Excellent in-house, handmade Spring rolls.

Average-below average Chinese restaurant. My second time here and haven't found anything that really blows me away. The prices are really good and the service was excellent. Everything was served fresh and hot

They were pretty slammed when we got there so they hadn't had time to bus the booths (something they were very apologetic about), but we were seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I ordered "triple delight" (beef, chicken, shrimp with fried rice), egg roll, egg drop soup, and hot tea. My friend ordered the brocholli beef. Both were delicious and had so much we had to take home left overs. My egg roll was really good. The waitress told me they had run out of soup and I could substitute a new soup or wait, I chose to wait. It was worth it. No complaints. The price was average for a sit down Chinese place.

This is 3rd time they gave us wrong to go order. We did not mind. However there was cockroach in the rice and floating in the soup. We called them to tell them about the wrong order and the roaches. The lady that answered the phone said no manager was there then she hung up. Is this how you treat customers of 16 years. We stopped eating there because cockroaches keep coming out of their plant pots. But we still get food to go. She even called us back several times to harass us.This is no way to treat customers of many years. NOT GOING BACK.J. LEMONS

Best Chinese food by far, and regardless of the items I order they can make it spicier for me or add more shrimp to the same dish, cost extra of course, but the options are there if needed. Talk about catering to me, if only other business would still have this type of customer service. All I can say is Wow, I will definitely return time and time again.

Family style the way it should be done. Delicious and generous. Walnut shrimp and crispy beef highly recommended.

The food was great and I've been to a lot of Chinese restaurants and I fell in love with our waitress. She was very nice, quick, efficient, and very accommodating with special requests. And we were a party of 12.

Great food. Their chicken is always coked perfect and never over done. Thieu food is tasty and cooked as ordered always! I eat there a few times a month and portions are very large enough for 2 people.

Even though it was insanely busy (Christmas day!), the service was very friendly, everyone was smiling and had great attitudes. The food was served quickly and sizzling. And it is GOOD! The crab Rangoon crispy, the filling is generous and tasty. I loved the lemon chicken and my hubby ate ALL of his teriyaki beef. We'll be going back for sure. Maybe it won't be quite so packed!!

Food is always hot and delicious. Huge portions of family style dishes, plenty to share. Service is a little slow but only when they are jam packed. Staff very hard working. By far one of my top favs for area.

Best Chinese cuisine in the Southeastern US, if not the eastern US. I have ordered something different almost every time I go (at least totalling 50 different excursions), I still haven't found something I did not love. Bring an appetite, they'll feed you and send you home with lunch tomorrow. The prices are excellent, especially when you see how much they give you.A little out of the way, worth every millisecond you spent getting there.

By far the best Chinese food I've ever had. Much of their menu is truly authentic. I had the steak and seafood. Absolutely spectacular!

We love the food here. We keep coming back. Only reason 3 stars instead of 5 is that their service leaves a lot to be desired. The service is friendly for sure. BUT if they have more than 2-3 tables full which is almost always they seem like they can't handle it and are running around like headless chickens. But like I said. Food is great and at least they're friendly.

It's pretty good Chinese food and great customer service!!! My family loved the sweet and sour shrimp, the shrimp egg foo young, the house fried rice , and egg rolls which were served family-style. Ultimately, this restaurant could be a little on the expensive side, but totally worth it because the food is very delicious😛 China Cottage is definitely worth to try with the family😉

I work at the BooksAMillion in the same strip mall and I have never had a bad experience there! The food is always great quality and they are so nice! I'm not the only one who works near them and who orders from them frequently, and I can say without a doubt that I will continue to eat there every lunch break! ❤️💙

The food is good. But service is subpar. They grossly underestimated how long take out would be and there were many people waiting an hour longer than they were told for take out. I know they want business especially around the holiday season but being honest is also important in telling customers how long food Prep will take.

This is one of my favorite restaurants!! They treat me like family whenever I dine there. The food is always delicious,and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Ive never had roaches or any type of bug served in my food . Im guessing joy within has a bug problem at her home. There food is amazing and bug free!

My noodles this past Friday was hard. Couldn't chew really. Pan black burn scorch marks and no vegetables in them this time. Sucks. At least I got my noodles I paid an upcharge for this. Sweet n sour sometimes taste like metal but very rarely. Lady and everyone is very nice generally. Last time they gave me rice and told me I should have called that night to complain. (I was ordering food 3 days later) I thought we were all adults here..? they will not admit or fix mistakes. They have good food. Always hot and fresh. They give less food sometimes tho Guess now days it's beginning to be a hit or miss on getting what you ordered and liking it. At night one entree and noodles cost you $18.

This is hands down, the some of the Best Chinese food. The quality is Great and their not too pricey, I’d rather pay more to get better food anyway. The people that work there are so friendly and sweet, they value their customers and show it. Everything is always fresh cool to order as well.

China Cottage always provides great service and delicious food. I'm a creature of habit, here. I almost always order Szechuan Beef. I love that they julienne the vegetables alongside small strips of beef in a fantastic sauce. I told my friend I don't order Kung Pao anywhere because it's been disappointing everywhere for 25+ years. I couldn't remember ordering it here and he decided to try it. Both dishes were superb. Now I finally have a Chinese restaurant worthy of Kung Pao Chicken again!

This was the best Chinese I've had in quite some time. The portions were very generous. (We ordered three entrees; we could have easily fed four, maybe five.) The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. It was a wonderful experience that I am ready to repeat. If you haven't tried China Cottage, you should.
